Wilmington Organized Crime Cops Make Drug Bust

Wilmington – On March 27, 2017 at approximately 3:10 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime & Vice Division executed a search warrant, culminating a drug investigation into a residence located in the unit block of Town Estates Drive, according to Wilmington Police.

Officials said that during the search, they one Loaded Hi-Point 9mm handgun (8 rounds) with Obliterated Serial number, 1,558 bags Heroin (10.90 grams), 7 grams Crack Cocaine and $1,491.00 in cash.

Two men, identified as Brandon Harris, 34, of Town Estates Drive, and Miles Harris,22, also of Town Estates Drive, were taken into custody without incident. All evidence and the two defendants were transported to the Wilmington Police Department headquarters.

The two defendants were booked and charges with Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited,  Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited, Possession of a Firearm/Obliterated Serial Number, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession With Intent to Deliver Tier 4 Quantity of Heroin, Possession of Heroin Tier 5 Quantity of Heroin and Possession With the Intent to Deliver Crack-Cocaine.

Defendants are pending arraignment and no bail information is available.
