Car Crushed By Tree In Hockessin, 2 In Hospital


Hockessin – Early this morning, Tuesday April 18, at around 7:30 a.m. New Castle County Police along with rescue crews responded the area of Brackenville Road at Valley Wood Road for an injury accident.

Arriving units found that a tree had fallen on vehicle in the roadway.

Reports from the scene indicate that possibly two patients were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Brackenville Road remains closed between Route 7 and  Mill Creek Road as crews clear the scene.
