Man Shot In Leg Walks To Hospital In Wilmington

On Sunday April 16, 2017 at approximately 8:00 a.m., Wilmington Police patrol officers responded to the St. Francis Hospital Emergency Room regarding a shooting victim.

Upon arrival officers located a 31-year-old male who was being treated for a gun shot wound to his left knee. The victim stated that he was walking in the 1400 block of W. 3rd Street when he was fired upon by an unknown suspect. The victim stated that he walked to the St Francis Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.
