Wilmington – Just after 8:00 p.m. tonight, Sunday May 28, 2017, Wilmington Police along with rescues workers responded to the 700 Block of Van Buren Street for reports of a double shooting.
Reports from the scene indicate that arriving officers found a man shot in the chest and legs and a woman was shot in the legs. Rescues crews responded to the scene but it’s not clear what condition the two patients are in.
Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) was called to the scene to transport at least one of the patients.
