John G. Harmon

Milford On April 28, 2017 officers from the Milford Police Department responded to the Silver Lake Estates Apartment Complex to a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival it was learned John G. Harmon Jr, 21 of Milford, had fled the scene, according to Milford Police Spokesman Sgt. Robert Masten.

During this altercation it’s alleged Harmon struck the victim if the face and applied pressure to their throat causing breathing difficulties. This was also witnessed by a nearby child, added Masten.

It was also learned that Harmon had been banned from that property and did not have permission to be there, according to Mastern. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by responding medical personnel.

Warrants were immediately obtained for Mr. Harmon and on May 15, 2017 he was charged with Assault Second Degree, Strangulation, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Trespass Third Degree. Mr. Harmon was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $8250.00 unsecured along with a no contact order with the victims.
