Overdose Victim Found In Front Of Newark City Hall

Newark – Just before noon today, Monday May 22, 2017, a woman was found suffering from an overdose at the bus stop in front of Newark City Hall.

Reports from the scene indicate that the woman was passed out when found. The woman was able walk with the assistance of first responders to an awaiting ambulance.

This is the second overdose incident at this location in just the last seven days.

On Tuesday May 16,  Newark Police requested an ambulance for an apparent overdose victim at the bus stop in front of city hall at around 11:00 pm. The patient appeared to be a college-aged woman.
