Pedestrian Struck At The University of Delaware

Newark – Just after 11:30 today, Tuesday May 23, 2017. University of Delaware police, along with Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company and New Castle County Paramedics responded to the University of Delaware Laird Campus parking lot for reports of pedestrian that was stuck.

Ambulance crews and paramedic were seen loading a patient into an ambulance for transport to the hospital. Injuries are not known at this time

It’s not clear if the pedestrian was a University of Delaware student.

We are awaiting comment from authorities.
