Rollover Crash At New Castle Race Track, Driver In Critical

 

New Castle – At approximately 10:50 pm, last night, May 6, 2017,  New Castle County Paramedics and Wilmington Manor Fire Company were dispatched to Airport Speedway in New Castle for a motor vehicle crash with a report of a rollover, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said upon arrival of County Paramedics, the patient, a 33-year-old male, was in care of emergency personnel from Airport Speedway. The patient suffered head and leg injuries after his go-kart rolled over.

The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance accompanied by County Paramedics. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.
