Woman Killed In Head-On Collision In Glasgow


Glasgow – New Castle County Police (NCCPD) are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred in the area of Frazier Road, according to NCCPD Spokesman M/Cpl. Heather Carter.

Carter said yesterday, May 18, 2017, at about 11:30 p.m., County Police were called to the 2700 block of Frazier Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles were involved in a head on collision. One of the vehicles, a Saturn, was occupied by a 24-year- old male driver, a 59-year-old female passenger, and 25-year-old female passenger.

The second vehicle, a Hyundai, was occupied by an 18-year-old female driver, an 18-year- old female passenger, a 16-year -old female passenger, and a 17-year-old male passenger. All occupants were provided first aid medical attention at the scene by New Castle County Paramedics.

The 59-year-old female passenger of the Saturn was pronounced dead at the scene . All other occupants were transported to an area hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic Services Unit Detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
