Elkton, Md. – Elkton Police are investigating the death of a woman who was reportedly found shot to death in a wooded area on Tuesday June 6,2017.
Heavy police activity was observed near the wooded area just a block from Delaware Avenue on Ross Street, near Meadow Park in Elkton.
A press release provided by the Elkton Police department stated that a black woman who was “deceased as a result of a homicide” was found in the area.
An earlier alert sent out by the police informed residents that a woman with multiple gunshot wounds was found in the 100 block of Ross Street.
