Verbal Dispute Lands Man In Hospital, Shot To The Chest

Wilmington – On Wednesday June 21, 2017 at approximately 10:40 p.m., Officers responded to the area of the 2900 block of Tatnall Street in regard to a possible shooting victim.  Upon arrival, officers located a 45- year-old male lying on the curb in front of 2913 Tatnall Street suffering from a gun shot wound to his chest area.

The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics and transported to Christiana Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was involved in a verbal dispute just prior to the shooting.
