County Cops Corral Escaped Equine

Delaware City – Sunday morning in Delaware City, New Castle County Police responded to home near Main Street for reports of a group of horses loitering in a front yard, according to statement on the departments Facebook page, kind of.

The statement reads

Our officers are saddled with all types of calls in different neighhhh-borhoods, some are very serious but this time it seems like they’re just horsing around. Sunday morning in Delaware City, we responded for a group of horses loitering in a front yard on a house near Mane Street. Our officers were able to put a smile on those long faces and corral them back to a stable home, all the while trying not to stirrup the crowd.
