Reports: One Person Ejected In Crash, Multiple Patients Transported, 3 To DuPont

Elkton, Md. –  Just before 10:00 pm last night the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, along with rescue crews responded to the intersection of Kirk Road and Fox Den Drive just north of Elkton for a single vehicle accident.

Reports from the scene indicate that one patient was ejected from the vehicle and another was found unconscious. Arriving crews called for a helicopter to medivac an adult. As crews worked the scene a second helicopter was requested, reportedly to transport children to AI duPont. An additional ambulance was requested to the scene as well.

The second helicopter was eventually cancelled and three children were transported to duPont by ambulance.

It’s unclear where the the adult was transported to or the nature of their injuries.

No information regarding injuries or conditions at this time.
