Wilmington – Radio reports and witnesses om scene indicate that the S. Walnut Street draw-bridge over the Christina River is once again stuck in the “up” position not allowing any vehicles to proceed north of S. Walnut street (Rt. 13).
A similar incident occurred at the bridge last night. In that incident police rerouted at A Street, east bound onto A Street.
Traffic was then being re routed over the Winchester Bridge into 4th Street. Travelers in the area should expect delays as the bridge situation is fixed.
