Newark – Crews from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with Newark Police have responded to S. College Ave for a vehicle crash involving two vehicles.
Arriving crews found a Dodge sedan and a Chevrolet pickup, both with heavy damage. Crew worked for several minutes to remove the patient from the sedan.
The driver of the truck did not appear to be injured, although his airbag did deploy. In addition to the sedan the truck also struck a utility pole and a clothing donation box.
