Multi-Vehicle Crash Ties Up Route 40 In Bear

Bear – At About 2:45 this afternoon crews from Christiana Fire Company, along with Trooper 4 responded to the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Bear Corbitt Road for an accident with a person trapped.

Arriving crews were able to quickly free the woman from her truck upon arrival. Trooper 4 was hovering above the scene as crews on the ground assessed patients in three separate vehicles.

As ambulance crews from Christiana Fire Company treated the patients it was determined that Trooper 4 would not be needed.

It’s unclear if any of the patients were transported to the hospital.
