Today’s Rain Brings A Day Of Auto Accidents, Injuries

Crash Porter Road @ Wrangle Hill Road – Sonja BochowNew Castle County –  Fire crews across New Castle County have been busy responding to motor vehicle accidents throughout the day. A day full of accidents began at 6:00 am this morning in Hockessin. In that accident a 22-year-old man was was seriously injured.

Police Officers, Troopers, New Castle County Paramedics and area fire companies have responded to at least 10 other accidents throughout the day, most with minor injuries reported.

Today’s steady rain has kept area road slick which is likely a factor in many of the accidents.
