Gas Prices Hold Steady Overnight, Still Higher Than National Average

Delaware – Great News! Well kind of. While Delaware’s gas prices remain above the national average the state’s gas prices did not rise overnight. This is the first time in several days that gas prices didn’t rise overnight..

The First State’s average is at $2.69 today, unchanged overnight and up 44 cents in the last week.

Compared to other areas in the region:

Pennsylvania gas average at $2.87 today, up 2 cents overnight and up 32 cents in the last week.
New Jersey gas average at $2.79 today, up 2 cents overnight and up 40 cents in the last week.
Delaware gas average at $2.69 today, unchanged overnight and up 44 cents in the last week.
Maryland gas average at $2.74 today, up 2 cents overnight, up 41 cents in the last week.
The Philadelphia (5-county) area gas average at $2.92 today, up 2 cents overnight and up 36 cents in the last week.
S. Jersey gas average at $2.73 today, up a penny overnight and up 42 cents in the last week.
Wilkes-Barre area gas average at $2.86 today, up 2 cents overnight and up 33 cents in the last week.
National gas average at $2.65 today, up a penny overnight, up 27 cents in the last week.
