Update: Car in the Water at Wilmington River Front, Divers on Scene

Update: Authorities have just confirmed that a victim is in the vehicle, Divers are working to extricate the patient.

Wilmington – Wilmington Police, along with the The New Castle County Dive Team, and fire crews are on scene near Joe’s Crab Shack in Wilmington for a report of a vehicle in the river.

Reports from the scene indicate that it is believed one person may still be trapped in the vehicle.

Traffic Notice: All draw bridges are up as fire boats make their way to the scene.
