Happening Now: Medics, Rescue Crews On Scene At Appoquinimink High School In Middletown

Update – Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) transported one patient to AI duPont. We believe this is the patient suffering from the fall.

Update – The patient suffering from a medical condition was transported by ground.

Update – State Police are reporting that a bomb threat was made to the school earlier this morning. Read Here That threat was cleared and the students were allowed back into the school.

This may explain why the students were at the stadium. We are checking with officials.

Middeltown – Rescue crews and medics are arriving on scene at Appoquinimink High School for reports that two people may be injured near the stadium.

Reports from the scene indicate that one patient is suffering from a long fall and the other patient is suffering from a medical condition.

Trooper 4 has just arrived on location and is expected to transport.

It’s not immediately clear if the patients are students or staff.
