Why Milltown Road Was Closed For Over 4 Hours Yesterday

Marshallton-Area – This afternoon at approximately 4:30 pm rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with New Castle County Police responded to the intersection of Milltown Road and Owen Drive for an injury accident.

Arriving crews found two vehicles with heavy impact damage and three patients suffering serious injuries. Crews worked to remove the patients, which included two young children and an adult, from the vehicles.

All three where transported to areas hospitals, one child with a trauma alert, one child with serious injuries, the adults injuries are not known.

As of 9:00 pm the road remains closed/
