68-Year-Old Woman Struck By Vehicle In Front Of Christiana Hospital


Stanton – This morning, at approximately 6:40 am, New Castle County Paramedics and personnel from the Christiana Fire Company were dispatched to the 4700 block of Stanton Ogletown Road for a pedestrian struck.

Arriving County Paramedics found a 68-year-old female who had been struck by a vehicle. The patient was treated on scene for injuries to the head, face, back, and hand. She was transported to the Emergency Department at Christiana Hospital on board an ambulance from the Christiana Fire Company with a New Castle County Paramedic accompanying. The patient was stable at the time of transport.

The Delaware State Police were on scene and are investigating the crash.
