Bicyclist Struck By Car In Newark This Morning

Newark – Just before 8:00 this morning crews from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, along with Trooper 4 responded to Route 72 (South Chapel Street) at Kenmar Drive for reports of a bicyclist struck.

Trooper 4 hoovered over the scene as medics evaluated the patient. Medics quickly determined that the patient would not be transported by air and released Trooper 4.

One patient with undetermined injures was transport by Aetna’s A-8 Ambulance to Christiana Hospital.
