Meyer

Newark – On October 20, 2017 Newark Police Department arrested Robert C. Meyer III, 32, of Elkton for Lewdness and Indecent Exposure following an incident that occurred in the parking lot adjacent to 334 Suburban Drive on October 20, 2017 at approximately 3:00 pm, according to Lt. Fred Nelson.

Nelson said the victim, a 54 female from Newark, reported that she was entering her parked vehicle when she noticed a male, later identified as Meyer, seated in the vehicle next to her committing a lewd act with his genitals exposed.

After leaving the area, the victim was able to provide the registration number and a description of the suspect vehicle to the police, said Nelson. Based on the information the victim provided, officers identified the suspect as Meyer and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Meyer subsequently turned himself in at the Newark Police Department where he was video arraigned in front of Justice of the Peace Court 2. He was then released on $1,000 unsecured bond.
