Rider In Serious Condition After Motorcycle Crash, Sent By Air

FileWilmington – At approximately 4:00 pm yesterday, New Castle County Paramedics, Delaware State Police helicopter and Brandywine Hundred Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Haines Avenue and Governor Printz Boulevard for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne T. Russell.

Russell said upon arrival New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 58-year-old male, the operator of the motorcycle, with injuries to his face, chest, and arm. The patient was treated on scene for his injuries. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police helicopter (Trooper 4). The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
