Newark – Wondering What all those Good Uncle Trucks are doing in Newark? Good Uncle is a New York based company that partners with restaurants from around the country in order to recreate their favorite dishes for delivery in other cities.
They recreate dishes in local Good Uncle locations for delivery to customers in the area.
According to their website Good Uncle allows customers to order food through their app, decide when they would like to pick up their food, and where, based on a list of preset locations around town.
The company currently serves the University of Syracuse and plans to open a University of Delaware site this month, along with another location at the University of Maryland later this year.
Workers at the site, located behind the SUNOCO on South Main Street, were tight lipped when asked about the Newark location’s opening.
