Wilmington – Early this morning, Sunday October 01, 2017, at approximately 9:32, Wilmington Police were dispatched to Kirkwood Park located at 11th and Spruce Streets for a report of a female who may be stabbed, according to police.

Officials said that upon the officer’s arrival they were directed to a porta-potty, which was located on the west end of the park. Located inside of the porta-potty was a 31-year-old female victim, covered in blood.
