Authorities Update Naamans Road Rollover Crash, One To Hospital

Talleyville – This afternoon, at approximately 1620 hours, New Castle County Paramedics and personnel from the Talleyville Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Grubb Road and Naamans Road for a motor vehicle crash, involving a rollover, according to Paramedic Senior Corporal David McKinney, Jr.

McKinney said arriving County Paramedics found a multiple vehicle crash that involved a rollover. The patient, a 49-year-old female who was in a vehicle that rolled over multiple times. The patient was extricated by fire department personnel prior to the arrival of County Paramedics.

The patient was found in the care of Emergency Medical Technicians from Talleyville Fire Company. She was offering a complaint of shoulder pain and was transported to the Emergency Department at Wilmington Hospital on board an ambulance from the Talleyville Fire Company with a New Castle County Paramedic accompanying. The patient was stable at the time of transport.

The Delaware State Police were on scene and are investigating the crash.

Talleyville – Rescue crews from the Talleyville Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) have be dispatched to the intersection of Naamans Road and Grubb Road for a vehicle crash with a rollover.

State Police are reporting that all eastbound lanes of Naamans Road are shutdown as crews work the scene.

Update: 4:34 pm – Trooper 4 has just been cancelled.
