Man Hospitalized After Being Shot In The Face


Wilmington – On Friday, 24 November 2017, at approximately 10:51 pm, Wilmington Police were summoned to the unit block of E. 23rd Street with regards to a SHOT SPOTTER notification for gunfire, according to police.

Officials said that upon the officers arrival, they located a 58-year-old male, suffering from a gunshot wound to his nose. He was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics, then he was transported to the Christiana Hospital for further treatment.
