Newark Police Investigating Break-In At St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

Newark Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 701 S. College Avenue between October 27, 2017 at 6:00p .m. and October 29, 2017 at 7:45 a.m, according to Lt. Fred Nelson.

Nelson said officers determined that the suspect’s point of entry into the church was through a window, which was found to have been damaged.

A filing cabinet inside the church was also found to have been damaged and an undisclosed amount of cash and a laptop were stolen, added Nelson.
