Troopers Looking For Help Identifying Robbery Suspect


Rehoboth Beach- The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify the subject in these surveillance photographs who was involved in the robbery of a gas station, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred around 7:05 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, as a male subject armed with a sharp instrument entered the Valero Gas Station located at 20880 Coastal Highway Rehoboth Beach. The suspect approached the clerk at the counter and demanded cash from the register, said Jaffe. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect was able to remove an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect (pictured) is described a black male approximately 5’4” to 5’6” tall, wearing dark colored clothing, and armed with a sharp instrument.
