Milltown – Just before 1:00 this afternoon rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with Delaware State Troopers and New Castle County Paramedics responded to the intersection of Route 7 (Limestone Road) and Milltown Road for reports of a vehicle accident with entrapment.
Arriving crews found at least one patient trapped. Crews worked for several minutes to cut the patient from the vehicle. Reports from the scene indicate that three patients were transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
Area fire police responded to the scene to manage the traffic. Officials closed the intersection while crews worked to clear the accident.
