Dover – The Delaware State Police Troop 3 is seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to identify two shoplifting suspects, according to Director of Public Information, Sergeant Richard Bratz.

Bratz said the initial investigation has determined the incident occurred on Friday, December 15, 2017, as a suspect in the grey hooded sweatshirt entered the Cell Phone Repair store located at 2131 South DuPont Highway, Dover and inquired about trading a cellular phone. A few minutes later, another suspect in a black hooded sweatshirt entered the store.

After he converses with the first suspect, he then asked the employee to look at a phone in a secured cabinet, at which time the employee opens the case and gives him the cellular phone. At this time the black male in the grey hooded sweatshirt distracts the employee and his partner runs out the front door with a Rose Gold Iphone 6s towards Rodney Village, according to police. The suspect was seen entering a blue Monte Carlo with Delaware tag 43690.

Suspect 1: black male early to mid 20’s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, approximately 6′ 00” tall with a beard, black pants and black hat.

Suspect 2: black male early to mid 20’s, black hooded sweatshirt, wearing blue jeans and black boots
