Reports: Police Chase Ends With Roll Over Crash In Newark

Newark – Just after 4:00 this afternoon Newark Police, Delaware State Police, University of Delaware Police, along with rescue crews from Christiana Fire Company and New Castle County Paramedics responded to the area of Route 4 and Allendale Road for a crash involving multiple vehicles.

Early reports indicate that Newark Police may have been involved in a vehicle pursuit that came to an end after two vehicles crashed with one rolled over.

Reports indicate that there may be two scenes related to the accident, one near Harmony Road on Route 4, and the crash on Route 4 near Allendale Road. Two vehicles at Allendale and 3 near Harmony.

It is unknown why the person was being pursued but it is believed that they are in custody.
