Troopers: Extradited Burglary Suspect Held On 63 Charges

Selbyville – On Saturday, January 13, 2018, at approximately 6:30 p.m., William A. Wagner Jr., 25, of Selbyville, was taken into custody by authorities in Maryland on theft-related charges, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, Wagner was extradited to Delaware from Ocean City Maryland in reference to active warrants for his arrest. Through investigative measures, Wagner was connected to several burglaries that he committed on Canvasback Road in the Swann Keys development from November 6, 2017 to January 6, 2018,  according to Jaffe.

Wagner was charged with 17 counts of Burglary 3rd, 17 counts of Criminal Mischief, 10 counts of theft, 7 counts of Felony Theft, and 12 counts of Possession of Burglary Tools. He was arraigned out of Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $79,500 cash only bond.
