Newark – Just before 11:00 yesterday crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder and the New Castle County Special Operations Collapse Team was dispatched to Rite Aid located at 1602 Capitol Trail for reports of a vehicle into the building.
Upon arrival, crews from Aetna discovered that a vehicle had struck a pillar causing damage to the building. It’s believed that crews determined that the damage to the building was not a safety risk and returned the scene over to the store’s management.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
