Minqaudale – Firefighters from the Minqaudale Fire Company, along with companies from across New Castle County responded to the Lowes Store located just off of Route 13 for reports of a fire.
At approximately 11:30 this morning, a small fire occurred on the roof of Lowes store on Hessler Boulevard, according to Lowes Corporate Communications Manager Steve Salazar.
Salazar The fire was contained to a small section of the roof and caused minor damage. The store team followed Lowe’s safety procedures and quickly evacuated employees and customers. It’s our understanding that no injuries have been reported. The store is actively working to reopen as soon as possible, said Salazar.
