Newark – Firefighters from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with crews from across New Castle County, Delaware County and Cecil County are responding to the unit block of Wynwyd Drive, near Downes Elementary School, for reports of a residential struct fire.
Upon arrival, crews are reporting a smoke condition on the second floor.
Location Details: Wynwyd Drive is located in the neighborhood directly behind Downes Elementary School.
Update: Crews on scene have located the source of the smoke in the home. A faulty lamp seems to be the source the smoke. All other responding units have been cancelled.
