Manhole Explodes In Pike Creek, Smoke Coming From Underground

Pike Creek – At 11:17 this morning firefighters from the Mill Creek Fire Company responded to Skyline Drive and Burnley Road for reports of an underground explosion.

An off-duty police officer was on scene reporting a manhole cover had popped and smoke was coming from under the ground.

At 11:28 crews alerted dispatch that they have brought the situation under control. No injuries were reported.
