On Tuesday New Castle County Vocational Technical schools posted a message on their Facebook page alerting parents to an alleged threat made via social media.
“We received information this morning from local law enforcement that a threat was made on social media against New Castle County Vo-Tech schools. Law enforcement is investigating and they have determined that our buildings are safe to continue normal operations today. As always, we remain vigilant in our security efforts and in our commitment to communicate important information to you.”, read the statement.
District officials did not release any further information.
