Police Investigating Two Wilmington Shootings

Wilmington – Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 3:25 pm. in the area of 23rd and N. Pine Streets on Friday, February 16, 2018. The victim in this incident is a 24-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics before being transported to the Christiana Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Authorities are also investigating a second shooting that occurred at approximately 12:00 pm, in the area of W. 4th and N. Clayton Street. The victim, in that case, is a 20-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. He was also treated on scene by New Castle County Paramedics before being transported to the Christiana Hospital, via ambulance, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
