Police Need Your Help Identifying Prices Corner Burglary Suspect

NCCPD

Prices Corner – The New Castle County Police Criminal Investigations Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect shown here in surveillance footage. The suspect is being sought in connection with a burglary, according to County Police Spokesman M/Cpl. Michel Eckerd.

Based on the content of the image provided, we believe it was captured by the surveillance camera mounted on the outside of a restaurant, in the 3000 block of Old Capitol Trail. Eckerd did not release details about the case or the location of the burglary, so it’s not clear if this is where the burglary actually occurred.

We do not believe the jackass was involved in the incident.

If you can identify this suspect or have any information pertaining to this investigation, please contact Detective Christopher Phillips at CMPhillips@nccde.org or The New Castle County Police at (302) 573-2800. Citizens can also submit a tip via our website at http://www.nccpd.com. Tipsters may also call Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333 or visit us on Facebook at New Castle County Police Department

Unlike other news organizations, First State Update hasn’t put up a paywall. We want to provide the news to as many readers as possible.

Our readership has grown far beyond our greatest expectations in such a short period of time.

In less than two years we have become one of Delaware most popular and  trusted news sources.

To keep this thing firing on all cylinders we need to do some serious updates and upgrades to our equipment.

That takes cash. Digital advertising revenue has declined in recent years as advertisers have begun to pay less for advertising and readers have begun using adblocker software.

Rather than promote ads that don’t get clicked on we are increasingly removing ads in favor of reader funded support.

If just a fraction of First State Update’s readers pitched in a couple of bucks we would be set for a while. You can support First State Update for as little as $1.
