Two Armed Masked Men Rob Victim On UD Campus Overnight

Newark –  Just after 3:45  this morning the University of Delaware Police Department alerted students via Twitter that an armed robbery had occurred in the Laird Campus parking lot.

The Tweet read as follows “UD Alert: armed robbery occurred in the Laird Campus residential parking lot. The suspects are described as two males wearing masks, who displayed a semi-automatic handgun. They were last seen operating a gold or tan older model Chrysler sedan, and fled in an unknown direction.”

Police did not release any information about the victim or any property that might have been taken.
