File

Newark – A 36-year-old Newark man faces as little as 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges, according to prosecutors.

Officials said in July 2017, an investigation into the dealing of child pornography over the internet led members of the Child Predator Task Force to conduct a search warrant in a Newark home.

An investigation showed Daniel Wall, had numerous images of child pornography on his computer and other devices.

Wall also had a video showing him touching a young girl, according to prosecutors. Wall pled guilty in Superior Court to 4 counts of Dealing in Child Pornography and 1 count of Unlawful Sexual Contact First Degree.

A Superior Court judge will sentence Wall in July.
