Car Misses The Curve Near Summit Bridge, Injuries Reported

Middletown –  Rescue crews, along with Delaware State Police are responding to the intersection of Summit Bridge Road and Bethel Church Road for reports of a injury accident.

DelDOT traffic cameras show at least three vehicles involved in the accident. It appears that one of the vehicles did not make the curve after coming off the bridge and slammed into other vehicles waiting at the light.

Update: Troopers and crews have arrived on scene and are evaluating the patients.

It’s believed that one male patient was be transported to Middletown Hospital with minor injuries.
