Carney, DelDOT Secretary Talk 141 Bridge, Cooperating With ICE Agents, Route 301 & More

Dover – Last night Governor John Carney and Delaware Department of Transportation Secretary, Jennifer Cohan sat down together to discuss transportation in a Facebook Town Hall meeting.

The pair took questions from resident of the First State via email and social media post. Most of the topics discussed were transportation based but a few people wanted to discuss other issues.

Questions about maternity leave, pay raises for state employees, illegal dumping filled several minutes of the 43-minute Town Hall.

Some of the transportation topics discussed had to do with the Route 301 construction, Rodney Square bus route changes, beach traffic, Howell School Road construction, the Route 141 Bridge construction delays, autonomous cars and the DMV’s corporation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
