Injured Person Rescued From Woods In Bear

Bear – Just after 10:30 this morning rescue crews from the Delaware City Fire Company, along with crews from the Christiana Fire Company and New Castle County paramedics responded to E Scotland Drive for reports of person in distress in a wooded area.

Upon arrival, Crews found one patient approximately 75 yards in. More man power was requested to help extricate the patient from the woods. It’s believed that the patient was transported to the hospital.

At this time it’s unclear what type of injuries the patient suffered.
