Quick Response Stops Prices Corner Apartment Fire From Spreading

Prices Corner – Just before 2:00 this afternoon firefighters from the Cranston Heights Fire Company, along with crews from the Hockessin, Mill Creek, Minquas and Elsmere Fire Companies responded to

125 Greenbank Road for reports of an apartment fire. Upon arrival crews found fire in a top unit apartment and began a search for occupants.

The primary and secondary searches resulted in negative results, all of the residents got out safely before firefighters arrival.

It’s believed that crews were able to quickly knock down the fire in the originating unit, stopping it from spreading to other units  The apartment sustained fire, smoke and window damage.
