Prices Corner – Just after 9:00 this morning Delaware State Troopers responded to an incident at the Prices Corner Shopping Center on Kirkwood Highway. Early reports from the scene indicate that two females, possibly children, were victims of a crime. It’s unclear what the nature of the crime is at this time. Police responding to the scene were advised to look for a black male near the JCPenny store, on the ACME side.
Upon arrival, Troopers alerted dispatch that New Castle County Police were out with a suspect. At some point during the investigation the suspect became combative with the officers and a altercation ensued. Officers utilized pepper spay on the suspect and were able to bring the incident under control shortly thereafter.
