Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Into Home In Lincoln

Lincoln– The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a residence last evening, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred at approximately 10:46 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018, at a residence located in the 22000 block of Pine Haven Road. A 51-year-old resident was at a neighbor’s house when he heard gun shots. Further investigation revealed that his residence was shot at while a 45-year-old male was asleep inside. The trailer was shot twice on its side, with one bullet penetrating through the residence.

There are no suspects at this time, and the 51-year-old male and 45-year-old male were not harmed as a result of this incident.

This case remains under investigation and the Delaware State Police is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident to please contact Troop 7, at 302-644-5020.
